  19. <p>     The writer (1868-1936) who championed the Communist
  20. Revolution and Soviet-style socialist realism lost his address
  21. to glasnost. Gorky Street, Moscow's main drag, which was
  22. christened in his honor in 1932, was given back its 15th
  23. century name: Tverskaya Street.
